Colleges

1. 3 Majors

- Ethics major: Ethics majors study the concept of moral good and practice applying it in various situations. They examine the history and theory of ethics as well as various belief systems. It is determining what is good and wrong and why a religion may think it is good or bad.

- Business major in Marketing Research: Students of marketing research study people’s buying habits in preparation for business careers. They learn how to conduct surveys, research buying trends, study the competition, explore advertising campaigns, and more. I am interested in this because businesses bloom when a certain fad is in and businesses can also break when a fad is gone.

- Community Psychology Major: Community psychology majors learn how to use psychological concepts to study social problems and explore possible solutions. Courses cover such topics as large-group counseling, the prevention of social problems, and social change.

2. Colleges:

- USC- For the ethics major, the closest college is USC, i dislike USC because i like UCLA, but since USC is the closest, I would go there for an ethics major. Good thing i still don't know what i wanna be when i get older. The minimum GPA is atleast a 3.0.

- Boston University offers a marketing research business major. It takes atleast a 3.0 to get into the college. I would like to go out of state for college, since I want to see the world. On my GPA, 35% of students get accepted.

- University of Washington, Bothwell, offers a community psychology degree. It is a 4- year public university that offers a bachelor and master's degree in this field. It is only 7% hispanic, so my ethnicity may help me get into this college.

NOTE: Thanks to this blog activity, I have gained somewhat more of an idea on what I wanna study when it comes to choosing a university.

  2. =) I'm glad on that last note.

Ethics, eh? That sounds so interesting. I've always wondered how much religion plays into peoples ethics. Are certain ethics considered religious?
