Even: to find out if a function is even, you first have to use the equation, f(-x)=F(x). The equation will tell you if the function is symmetrical about the Y-axis. Quadrant 1 and 2 will be reflected on one another.

Odd: to find out whether or not a function is odd, you first have to use this equation, f(-x)=-f(x). The function should be symmetrical about the origin of the graph. It would be reflected from quadrant 1 to the x and y axis.

  2. I don't need pictures, but you don't explain WHY this is the case at all. You simply restated the question. I want you to actually EXPLAIN all those symbols in f(x)=f(-x), for example and HOW that means its symmetrical about the y-axis.
